The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

In the 54th minute Henk Van Linthout shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrik Fagrell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76th play minute Mariano Lacasa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Patrik Fagrell. 0-8. BK Ugglan made a substitution. Wiktor Anselius replaced Henk Van Linthout. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind BK Ugglan's goalkeeper Patrik Fagrell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, BK Ugglan's Patrik Fagrell got control of the ball when Orlando Casaus tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Chile's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
