The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yu Yang Sang to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Éder Madureira in the 51st minute of play. Éder Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benedito Trigo made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Éder Madureira made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Éder Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Sagarana Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Sagarana Clube getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Yu Yang Sang hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yu Yang Sang, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, Sagarana Clube's Fábio da Cunha got a free kick in the 84th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yu Yang Sang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. In the 95th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sagarana Clube's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
