Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiktor Ekström having to interfere. Peru's Luz Tejedor pulled a muscle in his back after 9 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Remigiusz Winszman's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remigiusz Winszman helped the player get up and apologised. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Remigiusz Winszman kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Wiktor Ekström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonso Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Örjan Björk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Alcocer in the 20th minute of play forced Åsbro Flåsegutter's goalkeeper Wiktor Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Peru's Eliseo Alcocer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wiktor Ekström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Örjan Björk in the 23rd minute of play. Stig Bäckman made in the 31st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Stig Bäckman hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Zdzislaw Barniszke hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Örjan Björk reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 2-1. Peru's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Örjan Björk scored to the left of an out of position Rolando Noboa, making the score, 3-1.

After 53 minutes of play, Åsbro Flåsegutter's Örjan Björk made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Åsbro Flåsegutter's Wiktor Ekström got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute of the match Peru got a corner. Åsbro Flåsegutter's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Julian Murillo ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 76th minute Örjan Björk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Åsbro Flåsegutter booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Fraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Örjan Björk came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Örjan Björk in the 84th minute of play. Åsbro Flåsegutter made a substitution. Jakub Michalski replaced Örjan Björk. Alf-Inge Sørum ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alf-Inge Sørum made a great header on Åsbro Flåsegutter's corner, it was just that Peru's Rolando Noboa managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Jakub Michalski managed to get in a good position for a shot.
