Ismael Furman made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Baal Ares sent off a good shot on target. Baal Ares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismael Furman having to make a save. 12 minutes into the match, Equipo's goalkeeper Ismael Furman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baal Ares. Bruno Beugnet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Equipo were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Ares FC -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juliusz Cezar took the corner. Luca Jivulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Beugnet in the 27th minute of play. Mao Bin Ao got a throw-in 30 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Baal Ares. Ismael Furman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baal Ares in the 44th minute. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Equipo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Karadeniz Otay was slow to take the kick. During this time Ares FC -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Karadeniz Otay got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ismael Furman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Baal Ares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael Furman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Equipo's Sebastiano Disselkoen was substituted for Bruno Beugnet. In the 49th minute Ares FC -MM- were awarded a corner. Karadeniz Otay went to the cornerflag to take it. Karadeniz Otay made a great header on Ares FC -MM-'s corner, it was just that Equipo's Ismael Furman managed to reach the ball for a save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baal Ares to strike the kick off in the second half. Ismael Furman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baal Ares in the 56th minute of the match. Equipo's Juliusz Cezar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zé Augusto Maciel in the 60 minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastiano Disselkoen got free with Luca Jivulescu in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastiano Disselkoen in the 65th minute of play forced Ares FC -MM-'s goalkeeper Luca Jivulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ares FC -MM-'s Luca Jivulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Ares FC -MM- from getting a goal against them. Equipo's Juliusz Cezar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zé Augusto Maciel, made in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Equipo's goalkeeper Ismael Furman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sebastiano Disselkoen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luca Jivulescu having to make a save. With a little luck, Ares FC -MM-'s Luca Jivulescu got control of the ball when Sebastiano Disselkoen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastiano Disselkoen charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastiano Disselkoen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Equipo's Juliusz Cezar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zé Augusto Maciel in the 83 minute of the game. 87 minutes into the game, Ares FC -MM-'s Baal Ares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ismael Furman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ares FC -MM-'s Karadeniz Otay got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 97 played minutes Ares FC -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Baal Ares. When Baal Ares got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Ares FC -MM-. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 1-1. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Sebastiano Disselkoen made the kick off and play began. The Equipo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Equipo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
