An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceyhan Celvet in the 29th minute of play forced Cactos's goalkeeper Bran Allison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Pesquera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cengizhan Baycan went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Golden Dragón F.C's Hilario Pesquera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cengizhan Baycan in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Ceyhan Celvet got free with Bran Allison in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute, Cengizhan Baycan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cactos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Golden Dragón F.C made a substitution. Dario Betzanos replaced Ceyhan Celvet. Golden Dragón F.C's Camerino Luey was substituted for Selim Mićić. Cactos's Dorival de Carvalho was substituted for Maurinho Trezeguet. The throw-in from Peter Bagge in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Golden Dragón F.C's Emmanuel Vasco. Dario Betzanos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Bran Allison skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cactos's Bran Allison proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Cactos from getting a goal against them. Hilario Pesquera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Maciel in the 80th minute of the match. Cactos's Dorival de Carvalho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Domingos Iliana in the 84 minute of the game. Nando Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Pesquera having to interfere. Bran Allison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camerino Luey in the 89th minute of the match. Bran Allison made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Dario Betzanos sent off a good shot on target.

Golden Dragón F.C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
