Miromir Gdowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kent Beckeman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 16th minute of the match. Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Kent Beckeman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Beckeman having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Kent Beckeman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kent Beckeman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldinho Miguel went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Kent Beckeman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Kent Beckeman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Macos Graciani to maneuver through the defense. Miromir Gdowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Dante Lacasa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Glentown FC's Tom Lindholm got a free kick in the 47th minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when Glentown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Lindholm didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Gunnarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The corner led to Glentown FC's Miromir Gdowski getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Kent Beckeman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Miromir Gdowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glentown FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miromir Gdowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A throw-in in the 61st minute of the game was made by Macos Graciani with Alberto Tafalla as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience was convinced that Luca Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kent Beckeman was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. 66 minutes into the game, Macos Graciani threw the ball into play from the sideline. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mexico booed when Glentown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Gunnarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kent Beckeman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Miromir Gdowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miromir Gdowski in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle, Glentown FC could leave the field as winners, despite Mexico having more of the ball for most of the match.
