Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Barnaba Kolba started the match with the kick off. Rubinho Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Joaquin Prats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saulvedis Šūpelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Albertinho Teles dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saulvedis Šūpelis in the 14th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnaba Kolba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 19th minute of play forced Callegari's goalkeeper Rubinho Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnaba Kolba in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Peru booed when Callegari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigoris Gavril didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Callegari's zone, Luz Tejedor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubinho Lago came out of the goal and Luz Tejedor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Albertinho Teles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rubinho Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milagros Fraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rubinho Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 minutes Callegari's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. 42 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clóvis Proença. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Saulvedis Šūpelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Callegari's goalkeeper Rubinho Lago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Peru were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Callegari's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Luz Tejedor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rubinho Lago quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rubinho Lago made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saulvedis Šūpelis in the 59th minute of play. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Callegari's Eduardo Guerrero was substituted for Barnaba Kolba. In the 66th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luz Tejedor to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Luz Tejedor hit a great ball. Rubinho Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, Peru's Luz Tejedor got a free kick in the 74th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Rubinho Lago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. 85 minutes into the game, Callegari's Eduardo Guerrero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertinho Teles in the 93rd minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saulvedis Šūpelis in the 96th minute of the match.
