Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Francisco Infante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Francisco Infante quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dante Lacasa was a little too slow when Carlos Palmeira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. After some careless play in the Lima Team defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francisco Infante. The Lima Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisco Infante should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herberto Caiado in the 24th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Herberto Caiado was slow to take the kick. During this time Lima Team's players had a chance to rest. Lima Team's Herberto Caiado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 25 minutes into the game, Jacob Barroso lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Dante Lacasa. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Herberto Caiado sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Infante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona scored 2-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francisco Infante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Palmeira hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Infante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lima Team getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Caetano Assunção hit a great ball. In the 44th minute of the match Alberto Tafalla shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisco Infante showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Lima Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 2-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herberto Caiado to strike the kick off in the second half. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Domingos in the 52nd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Lima Team's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Francisco Infante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herberto Caiado in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Jacob Barroso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lima Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Francisco Infante threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Francisco Infante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Tafalla's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. With a little luck, Lima Team's Francisco Infante got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Francisco Infante, 3-4. Facundo Cadaval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Francisco Infante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, Lima Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Infante stood somewhat misplaced when Alberto Tafalla came free in front of goal and shot 3-5 to the left of him in the 86 minute. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Francisco Infante threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 91 minutes, Facundo Cadaval managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Facundo Cadaval was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lima Team's Francisco Infante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 95th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lima Team's Horácio Sobral got a free kick in the 96th minute. Francisco Infante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
