In the 47th minute Christiano Ronaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Altza Herria players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-1.

Altza Herria made a substitution. Marcos Saavedra replaced 康鸿潮. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Altza Herria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. In the 95th match minute, Altza Herria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvito Villa to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mexico players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Altza Herria.
