Paulo Godoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Godoi ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Godoi got free with Rolando Noboa in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peru's Eliseo Mina got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allan Varela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Julian Murillo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Allan Varela. The supporters of Peru booed when Palestra do Interior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyisana Mnisi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Paulo Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Palestra do Interior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Godoi couldn't finish the play. Jorginho Ferreira hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela. Allan Varela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Allan Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 27th minute of the match. Paulo Godoi charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Godoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 32 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Allan Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 吴洲坚 in the 33rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Allan Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peru's Anthony Alvarado quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jorginho Ferreira, made in the 41st minute of the game. 46 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Allan Varela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3.

Allan Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Milagros Fraga. Moises Gayoso hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Godoi went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. When 吴洲坚 fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palestra do Interior's protests and gave 吴洲坚 a yellow card for diving instead. 吴洲坚 hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Niclas Danielsson replaced Hudson Sergipano. 吴洲坚 hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Herbert Pankowski's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herbert Pankowski helped the player get up and apologised. Palestra do Interior's Vitório Lago was substituted for Paulo Godoi. After 73 played minutes Palestra do Interior got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Pankowski. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 84th match minute, Palestra do Interior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percival Cruz to maneuver through the defense. When Peru's Rafael Gallo in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 93 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Vitório Lago came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
