Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Chano in the 17th minute of play. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adan Otsoko went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristo Colas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Chano in the 23rd minute of the match. After 27 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victorio Sabino who took care of the corner kick. Danilo Remir made a great header on Almeyra F.C.'s corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. Francisco Perico kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teo Chano to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Gonzalez in the 77th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Adan Otsoko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 88 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Cristo Colas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristo Colas. Almeyra F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Cristo Colas in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Cristo Colas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
