The throw-in from Flavian Bastin in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Sporting Buceo's Flavian Bastin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alonso Berganza, made in the 8th minute of the game. 13 minutes into the match, Isaias Jakue notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaias Jakue got free with Rolando Noboa in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maximo Horquizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Yao Yan Sen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31stth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 33 played minutes Sporting Buceo got a freekick which was hit by Filcho Kordov. Maximo Horquizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 36th minute of the match. Maximo Horquizar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Sporting Buceo getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Juan Sartori hit a great ball. Maximo Horquizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maximo Horquizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 51st minute of play. After some careless play in the Sporting Buceo defense, Luz Tejedor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximo Horquizar. The Sporting Buceo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximo Horquizar should have stopped the shot. In the 56th match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavian Bastin to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Flavian Bastin in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 66th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Horquizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting Buceo's Charly Good was substituted for Filimon Gamburtsev. A very nice done corner allowed Joaquin Prats to score against Maximo Horquizar in Sporting Buceo's goal. 1-3 after 72 minutes. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. After 85 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Luz Tejedor. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Horquizar having to interfere. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charly Good, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Sporting Buceo's Charly Good fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Peru had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
