Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Wilton Vale started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The long shot by Pabla Zuniga in the 4th minute really tested Benito Sanz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 7 minutes of play, TAQUARI FC's Wilton Vale made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 10th minute, Wilton Vale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TAQUARI FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Wilton Vale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. TAQUARI FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bernard Letourneau in the 14th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Pabla Zuniga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Costa Rica's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Wilton Vale 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Wilton Vale might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilton Vale ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilton Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The supporters of TAQUARI FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilton Vale might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilton Vale ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute Wilton Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilton Vale's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilton Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernani Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilton Vale in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 54 minutes into the game, Ernani Souto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 61st minute Ernani Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilton Vale scored 6-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilton Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Wilton Vale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TAQUARI FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. If Wilton Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilton Vale in the 70th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Wilton Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Wilton Vale scored 9-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 83 minutes, Wilton Vale made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Gaspar in the 89th minute of play. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Wilton Vale came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Wilton Vale made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. TAQUARI FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
