Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Hoberg United's Dida Martins managed to reach the ball for a save. Hoberg United's Claudio-Paul Pirinchev quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Primitivo Andino, made in the 11th minute of the game. Hoberg United's Dida Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of play. Dida Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cintya Palacios came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Cintya Palacios capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cintya Palacios really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 38 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cintya Palacios. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Jaroslaw Teofila took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Primitivo Andino made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Daniel Zorita. If Cintya Palacios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Balázs Sebes to make the kick off. Jaroslaw Teofila kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Cintya Palacios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hoberg United's zone, Agustín Saelices stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Martins came out of the goal and Agustín Saelices tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cintya Palacios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the game, Primitivo Andino threw the ball into play from the sideline. Hoberg United's Louis Bullock quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Hoberg United booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cintya Palacios's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hoberg United's Dida Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 72nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Cintya Palacios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Cintya Palacios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balázs Sebes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Balázs Sebes scored 3-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Dida Martins in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Hoberg United were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
