The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Rähim Sterling sent off a good shot on target. In the 17th minute, Abram Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Erik Skog. Garphyttan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 21 minutes into the game, Colombia's Axel Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Skog made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Rähim Sterling kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 24thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Colombia's keeper Pedro Manzanares was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 24 minutes into the game, Rähim Sterling lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viktor Albäck's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Kvalfält, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The supporters of Garphyttan booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abram Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Rähim Sterling scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 3-2. Kevin Mastache didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Garphyttan's Viktor Albäck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. 62 minutes into the match, Garphyttan's Viktor Albäck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Viktor Albäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. The audience was convinced that Rähim Sterling's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. The Garphyttan fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Garphyttan's Rähim Sterling looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 9-2 when Rähim Sterling sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Garphyttan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
