Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) UD ZAS's Cuero Socobio got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rey Cerezuela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 4th minute of play. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, UD ZAS's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Covarrubias came free, but Rey Cerezuela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Hector Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 played minutes UD ZAS got a freekick which was hit by William Bucaran. After 20 minutes of play, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rey Cerezuela was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by UD ZAS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Pardo was slow to take the kick. During this time Paraguay's players had a chance to rest. Hector Covarrubias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rey Cerezuela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Rey Cerezuela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 31st minute of the match. Jaime Pardo spun around in front of the goal 31 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of UD ZAS's goal. Marquez Uncal made in the 38th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cuero Socobio. In the 43rd match minute, UD ZAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torres Ororbia to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rey Cerezuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hector Covarrubias came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Covarrubias couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and William Bucaran made a kick off. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Bucaran in the 53rd minute of the match. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. William Bucaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Moreta Vadillos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rey Cerezuela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Cuero Socobio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Cuero Socobio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rey Cerezuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, UD ZAS's Freddy Ingueros got a free kick in the 70th minute. With a little luck, UD ZAS's Rey Cerezuela got control of the ball when Jaime Pardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rey Cerezuela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 73rd minute of the match. Hector Covarrubias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hector Covarrubias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rey Cerezuela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alan Campos in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rey Cerezuela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaime Pardo kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias got a free kick in the 96th minute. Paraguay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
