Ronnie Hinrichsen hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of DORTMUND:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Haiti:s goal. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Haiti. Jonathan Alphonse stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kevin Gottmann. 2-1. A collision led to DORTMUND getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Vitus Stollmann hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Murat Grotthaus sped through Haiti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Noel Seide. Rodney Emmanuel got a throw-in 34 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Raymond Louis. After 36th play minutes Murat Grotthaus shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Noel Seide and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Murat Grotthaus in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Noel Seide prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Haiti's Noel Seide got control of the ball when Murat Grotthaus tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathan Alphonse to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Wellington Quirino notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Haiti's Noel Seide. Noel Seide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rd minute Philippe Ambroise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Gottmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DORTMUND's attentive Justin Renz managed to snatch the ball when Raymond Louis made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. Yadulla Färäcov came free in the 93rd minute and tried to tip the ball over Noel Seide, but to the joy of Haiti's supporters the ball went over. After a rather tough play, DORTMUND's Ronnie Hinrichsen got a free kick in the 95th minute. Philippe Ambroise struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Kevin Gottmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haiti.
