Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emanuel Ogășanu started the match with the kick off. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Ogășanu's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Montenegro in the 5th minute. Pascual Carballar was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 8 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Ogășanu. 11 minutes into the game, Emanuel Ogășanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Emanuel Ogășanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Daller in the 15th minute. Armando Abeita made in the 18th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Adam Daller. Sebastian Titz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Mastache in the 20th minute of play. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Sydney FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. The corner led Colombia's Axel Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Sebastian Titz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The throw-in from Adam Daller in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Antonio Indiano. Sebastian Titz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Montenegro went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Önder Cebi scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 2-1. In the 33rd minute, Ferdinand Mendy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Guy Rothe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Colombia's Axel Montenegro in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sydney FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guy Rothe got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Sydney FC's Pedro Manzanares threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ludwig Hanstein, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sebastian Titz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Titz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Cazalla in the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Abram Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Sebastian Titz. Sydney FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Guy Rothe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Abeita charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Abeita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th match minute, Sydney FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Abeita to maneuver through the defense. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Sydney FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Önder Cebi in the 84th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Mastache.
