Paulo José Toledo took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilles Eekhout. Gilles Eekhout dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After having played for 11 minutes, Reynaldo Froila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samurai Champions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Froila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilles Eekhout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo José Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Andres Orlondon kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Acácio Tavares made a precise shot to the right of Gilles Eekhout. AC Milan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. AC Milan made a substitution. Demis Papastefanou replaced Jaap Stam. Márcio de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Head in the 20th minute of play. Reynaldo Froila ran over to the corner to take the kick. AC Milan's Gilles Eekhout proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save AC Milan from getting a goal against them. Acácio Tavares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Gilles Eekhout made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Valentín Pascal came free, but Gilles Eekhout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AC Milan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Paulo José Toledo scored to the left of an out of position Gilles Eekhout, making the score, 3-1. If Jardel Head had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute Jardel Head shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márcio de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jared Wolfman in the 43rd minute of play forced Samurai Champions FC's goalkeeper Márcio de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Márcio de Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Head, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 47 minutes, Elpidio Bidun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Samurai Champions FC and the AC Milan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92ndth minute Reynaldo Froila beautifully dribbled past AC Milan's defense and it looked for a moment as a certain goal, but Gilles Eekhout pulled off a phantom save to prevent the ball from scoring on his left hand side. With an all-out effort, AC Milan's Márcio de Brito threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jardel Head, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
