The LA LUZ F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Javier Enol should have stopped the shot. In the 46th minute, MILLONARIOS FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ivan Vistruario fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

With a little luck, LA LUZ F.C.'s Javier Enol got control of the ball when Eskild Sneftrup tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute, Luís Cubilla made a precise shot to the right of Videl Mauriz. MILLONARIOS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. MILLONARIOS FC's Videl Mauriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Vistruario in the 89th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Fernado Sisalde took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Javier Enol to make any attempt to save it.

The LA LUZ F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MILLONARIOS FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
