In the 8th minute Gatot Makatita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Micael Torcato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 played minutes GD Almargense got a freekick which was hit by Luís Casado. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Rodríguez got free with Tarsan Suartama in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haddad Leimena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. GD Almargense's Micael Torcato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ecep Priambodo in the 22nd minute of play. Laureano Madruga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Tarsan Suartama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 played minutes JEMBer UTara got a freekick which was hit by Ecep Priambodo. The audience was convinced that Ecep Priambodo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Micael Torcato was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 33rd minute Gatot Makatita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Micael Torcato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Micael Torcato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gatot Makatita, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 41 minutes, Haddad Leimena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JEMBer UTara and the GD Almargense players grew even worse after the yellow card. Haddad Leimena kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, JEMBer UTara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mukti Risnandar to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luciano Rodríguez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Micael Torcato made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Ecep Priambodo sent off a good shot on target. Luciano Rodríguez struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Tarsan Suartama didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GD Almargense. Tarsan Suartama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Rodríguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Matanović during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
