The supporters of 1989 Blxsk booed when Bucéfalo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romário Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romário Passos scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natalio Mitxaut, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Bucéfalo FC's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Montenegro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niceto Bernad. Natalio Mitxaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tico Mole in the 30th minute of the match. Natalio Mitxaut came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Bucéfalo FC's Tico Mole. But to his dismay, Tico Mole quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernabe Dacio got free with Pedro Luís Montenegro in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernabe Dacio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Pedro Luís Montenegro made a huge save. Pedro Luís Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Platon, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 45 minutes into the match, Bernabe Dacio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Luís Montenegro. Bucéfalo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernabe Dacio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
