The referee showed Flórián Dósa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Nova Venécia-ES's zone, Csaba Kormos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Cardozo came out of the goal and Csaba Kormos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elói Baptista in the 82nd minute of play forced Százhalombattai VUK SE's goalkeeper György Solti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Elói Baptista in Nova Venécia-ES was the one to initiate the kick off. Szabolcs Gerebics scored 0-1 in the 105th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clemente Cardozo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Nova Venécia-ES supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Százhalombattai VUK SE's performance. The match ended with a win for Százhalombattai VUK SE.
