When Júlio Brasil fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's protests and gave Júlio Brasil a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute Steve Ice-Cream Guobadia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Túlio Hermes in the 11th minute of play forced Deportivo Ortegano's goalkeeper Vasco Rovira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Edinho Aparecido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edinho Aparecido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vito Vidal made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Serafino Berria sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the game, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Túlio Hermes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vasco Rovira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Vito Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dolfos Remon in the 26th minute of play. Dolfos Remon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Vito Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Deportivo Ortegano's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Dias came free, but Vasco Rovira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francesco Samano kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Deportivo Ortegano's Vasco Rovira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Túlio Hermes in the 40th minute of play. Vasco Rovira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Júlio Brasil went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 45 minutes, Serafino Berria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Ortegano and the CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Deportivo Ortegano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Berria to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Steve Ice-Cream Guobadia to strike the kick off in the second half. George Maxwell Ice-Cream Guobadia hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Vasco Rovira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diguinho de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Júlio Brasil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vasco Rovira having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Vasco Rovira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vito Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Ice-Cream Guobadia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 minutes of play, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Júlio Brasil made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vasco Rovira was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 70 minutes, Júlio Brasil made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Ortegano's Vasco Rovira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 73 minutes, Tony Dias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE and the Deportivo Ortegano players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Tony Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Sotero Besga came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Deportivo Ortegano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sotero Besga couldn't finish the play. Dolfos Remon kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 86thth minute of the game Túlio Hermes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Ortegano's Vasco Rovira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Clemente Prestes got a free kick in the 93rd minute. With a little luck, Deportivo Ortegano's Vasco Rovira got control of the ball when Tony Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The Deportivo Ortegano supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's performance. The match ended with a win for CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE.
