Abelardo Escerza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Blanc in the 10th minute of play. Michael Kuijsten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Abelardo Escerza made a huge save. In the 15th match minute, Mijdrecht Maffia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephan van Fessum to maneuver through the defense. Rik Numan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damián Fouillioux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Mijdrecht Maffia's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Jurado came free, but Rik Numan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Pino in the 40th minute of play forced Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Rik Numan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Escerza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Blanc in the 43rd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco-Antonio Figueroa was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Zorros del Desierto booed when Mijdrecht Maffia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gertjan Theisens didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Michael Kuijsten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abelardo Escerza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Darien Mantilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the game, Camilo Pino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rik Numan. Camilo Pino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 81 minutes into the match, Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Rik Numan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damián Fouillioux. In the 86th minute, Michael Kuijsten made a precise shot to the right of Abelardo Escerza. Zorros del Desierto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The supporters of Mijdrecht Maffia booed when Zorros del Desierto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Américo Taylor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Zorros del Desierto's Camilo Pino got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
