Spectators: 3101 (Terracing: 2327, Seating: 713, VIP seats: 61) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mitch Van De Wyngaert got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Beek City's Mitch Van De Wyngaert got a free kick in the 4th minute. Klaas Jan Lammers might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laurence Luyten. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Klaas Jan Lammers ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute Mitch Van De Wyngaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius van Zijl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geert Arend van Zijl in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laurence Luyten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julius van Zijl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwen Wegers in the 34th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Beek City's goalkeeper Laurence Luyten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Klaas Jan Lammers. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Klaas Jan Lammers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julius van Zijl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwen Wegers in the 53rd minute of play. Stefan Vercammen kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. FC Bal op het Dak made a substitution. Kristof Numan replaced Michael Stekelenburg. Stefan Vercammen hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game was made by Arjan Breugel with Hans de Graaf as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Laurence Luyten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geert Arend van Zijl, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Gregory Van Houtvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Geert Arend van Zijl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laurence Luyten was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Julius van Zijl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mitch Van De Wyngaert's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 85th minute Klaas Jan Lammers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurence Luyten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julius van Zijl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmond Gillekens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Beek City players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Bal op het Dak.
