Spectators: 2829 (Terracing: 2122, Seating: 651, VIP seats: 56) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kleanthis Louvaris kicked off to start the match. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Acácio Ortiz sped through Saronida FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marios Zachalios. After a defensive mix-up in Saronida FC's zone, Acácio Ortiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marios Zachalios came out of the goal and Acácio Ortiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saronida FC's goalkeeper Marios Zachalios, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 15th minute Imbituba - FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Olívio Castro went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Imbituba - FSCMZ's corner Olívio Castro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marios Zachalios quite easily take care of the ball. Pavlos Koubaroulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho de Queirós having to interfere. In the 20th minute Cristóvão Linares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marios Zachalios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodriguinho de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kleanthis Louvaris in the 23rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Imbituba - FSCMZ's Acácio Ortiz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marios Zachalios. That made the score 2-0 after 26 minutes of play. A collision led to Imbituba - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Olívio Castro hit a great ball. Samuca Camargo lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 37th minute, one of Imbituba - FSCMZ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Imbituba - FSCMZ. Rodriguinho de Queirós had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping Nikos Malamas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Nikos Malamas did an outstanding performance 40 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-1 to the right of an irritated Rodriguinho de Queirós in the goal. Olívio Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Dimitris Koubouris was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristóvão Linares made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Saronida FC's goal looked a bit too open when Acácio Ortiz came free, but Marios Zachalios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodriguinho de Queirós made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Nikos Malamas sent off a good shot on target. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Imbituba - FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dimitris Koubouris was slow to take the kick. During this time Saronida FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Saronida FC's Dimitris Koubouris to fire away a dangerous shot which Rodriguinho de Queirós despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 57th minute Cristóvão Linares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marios Zachalios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saronida FC's Fondas Kouvas was substituted for Pavlos Koubaroulis. In the 66th match minute, Imbituba - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Tavares to maneuver through the defense. Saronida FC's Nikos Malamas got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marios Zachalios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Linares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saronida FC's Marios Zachalios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Linares in the 75th minute of play. Marios Zachalios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Linares, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. A collision led to Saronida FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Petros Maragoudakis hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Cristóvão Linares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marios Zachalios was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1.

Imbituba - FSCMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Saronida FC for a fine match.
