Cosmin Donecea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonzalo Maradona got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonzalo Maradona in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Gonzalo Maradona sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Per-Oskar Söderström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Carballar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin Mastache might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Per-Oskar Söderström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kevin Mastache ran back to his position shaking his head. Axel Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Per-Oskar Söderström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonzalo Maradona in the 45th minute. Per-Oskar Söderström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

50 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Per-Oskar Söderström. Scrotum Kickers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Scrotum Kickers FC's Per-Oskar Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 87th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Kevin Mastache ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Per-Oskar Söderström was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. After a rather tough play, Scrotum Kickers FC's Dan Berglund got a free kick in the 94th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
