Nizam Soner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nizam Soner came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nizam Soner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Primitivo Andino made in the 15th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Felix Montenegro however managed to control. Jindřich Páral was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Luke in the 26th minute of play. Nereo Luke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, !!KARAGÜLLE İMPARATORLUĞU's Nereo Luke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nereo Luke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, !!KARAGÜLLE İMPARATORLUĞU's Nereo Luke dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nereo Luke to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, !!KARAGÜLLE İMPARATORLUĞU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Stephen to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute Nereo Luke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Gisbert made in the 63rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luis Andino however managed to control. 67 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Bobby Pires came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. !!KARAGÜLLE İMPARATORLUĞU's Bobby Pires was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Jindřich Páral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Nereo Luke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 85 minutes into the match, !!KARAGÜLLE İMPARATORLUĞU's Nereo Luke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Luke came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
