A sloppy throw-in by Arturo Carvallo in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Milanis E.C.'s Isiah Hinkle. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno da Costa in the 3rd minute of the match. Maximiliano Escribano charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximiliano Escribano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Bernardo Eladio came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Milanis E.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Eladio couldn't finish the play. Bernardo Eladio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magno Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magno da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 21 minutes into the match, Milanis E.C.'s Magno da Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Milanis E.C.'s Magno Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Arturo Carvallo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Milanis E.C.'s Fahl Gattuso quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Magno da Costas short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Magno da Costa struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milanis E.C.. 32 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Magno Braga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Magno da Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Magno da Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 38 in the game by Bernardo Eladio from a close distance when the talented Joaquin Gayoso managed to make a qualified save. Uruguay's players were relieved. Milanis E.C.'s Fahl Gattuso quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Arturo Carvallo, made in the 40th minute of the game. Magno Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 41st minute of the match. The throw-in from Arturo Carvallo in the 47th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Milanis E.C.'s Fahl Gattuso. In the 48th minute, Camilo Franco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.

The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Magno da Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Magno da Costa put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. After some careless play in the Milanis E.C. defense, Francisco Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Magno Braga. The Milanis E.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Magno Braga should have stopped the shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magno da Costa in the 63rd minute of play. In the 70th minute, Francisco Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magno da Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Milanis E.C. booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Milanis E.C.'s Magno da Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Magno da Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jaime Cazalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Magno Braga having to make a save. 86 minutes into the match, Milanis E.C.'s goalkeeper Magno Braga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximiliano Escribano. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Milanis E.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Cazalla was slow to take the kick. During this time Uruguay's players had a chance to rest. Bernardo Eladio's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Eladio helped the player get up and apologised. Bernardo Eladio hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Uruguay played a much better game than Milanis E.C. and deserved their victory. The Milanis E.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
