In the 6th minute, Nathaniel Burnett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Santino Seco took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sidney Motta. Sidney Motta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 12 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sidney Motta. Imbituba - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Nathaniel Burnett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 16th minute Nathaniel Burnett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nathaniel Burnett in the 18th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathaniel Burnett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathaniel Burnett in the 23rd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Nathaniel Burnett kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 2-2 in the 24 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathaniel Burnett in the 28th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Nathaniel Burnett cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 33 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Mastache came free, but Sidney Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Nathaniel Burnett made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. 38 minutes into the match, Nathaniel Burnett had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nathaniel Burnett was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. After 47 minutes, Pascual Carballar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colombia and the Imbituba - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pascual Carballar kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathaniel Burnett in the 52nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Colombia's Abram Sarmiento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sidney Motta. That made the score 5-3 after 53 minutes of play. Rogério da Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogério da Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. 65 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Nathaniel Burnett came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathaniel Burnett in the 66th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Nathaniel Burnett left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Imbituba - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-3. Imbituba - FSCMZ made a substitution. Válbson Pimenta replaced Berenguer Anda. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. The audience was convinced that Válbson Pimenta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson Pimenta in the 73rd minute of play. Rogério da Silva hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Fabian Balbuena might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabian Balbuena ran back to his position shaking his head. Válbson Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 90 minutes into the match, Ersan Ergüleç notched a goal, 7-3, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute Ersan Ergüleç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Rogério da Silva got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 96 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Ersan Ergüleç came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Imbituba - FSCMZ fully deserved thier win.
