When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. 傅鹏烨 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, 韩城昆 made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 傅鹏烨 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the ≮王者归来≯顺我者娼，逆我者汪 defense, Patricio Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 傅鹏烨. The ≮王者归来≯顺我者娼，逆我者汪 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 傅鹏烨 should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, ≮王者归来≯顺我者娼，逆我者汪's 韩城昆 got a free kick in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the match 邵南洲 climbed in front of goal and pressed up 4-1 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Jonathan Ferrant. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, ≮王者归来≯顺我者娼，逆我者汪's 韩城昆 got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 傅鹏烨 having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with 傅鹏烨 in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 邵南洲's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 韩城昆 in the 69th minute of play. 邵南洲 scored 6-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by 谢潮扬 in the 78 minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 傅鹏烨 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, 邵南洲 put it in 7-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 91st minute of the game 莫桦平 made a throw-in which 魏骋耀 played forward. After 92 minutes, Rigoberto Mina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the ≮王者归来≯顺我者娼，逆我者汪 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 庄钢益, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
