Kickers United's Cederik Huts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerónimo Furtado in the 35th minute of play. Cederik Huts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerónimo Furtado went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerónimo Furtado in the 40th minute of play forced Kickers United's goalkeeper Cederik Huts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cederik Huts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerónimo Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes Kickers United got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Raes.

Jerónimo Furtado took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cederik Huts. Cederik Huts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lode Rouvroys in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edwin van der Sar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leopoldo Gaxan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cederik Huts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerónimo Furtado in the 63rd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's goal looked a bit too open when Lode Rouvroys came free, but Edwin van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kickers United.
