After a defensive mix-up in FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's zone, Hieronim Michna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomiro Txindoki came out of the goal and Hieronim Michna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sydney Trujillo struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Baldomiro Txindoki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC POLMOTOR TCZEW. With a little luck, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki got control of the ball when Hieronim Michna tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute, FC POLMOTOR TCZEW's Hieronim Michna dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Hieronim Michna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Baldomiro Txindoki made a huge save. Piotr Michna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orçun Yalınalp in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iulian Pietreanu in the 27th minute of play forced FC POLMOTOR TCZEW's goalkeeper Piotr Michna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomiro Txindoki was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Hieronim Michna capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hieronim Michna really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The supporters of FC UNIREA Alba Iulia booed when FC POLMOTOR TCZEW was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patryk Giertych didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Hieronim Michna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hieronim Michna got free with Baldomiro Txindoki in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Piotr Michna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petrică Cândreanu in the 43rd minute of the match. Piotr Michna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orçun Yalınalp in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hieronim Michna to make the kick off. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Nils-Emil Hansson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bartosz Mruk in the 52 minute of the game. Hieronim Michna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baldomiro Txindoki having to make a save. Baldomiro Txindoki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hieronim Michna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Petrică Cândreanu notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC POLMOTOR TCZEW's Piotr Michna. Piotr Michna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the match, Hieronim Michna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldomiro Txindoki. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hieronim Michna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After a rather tough play, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Iulian Pietreanu got a free kick in the 64th minute. FC POLMOTOR TCZEW's Beniamin Pacholewski got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Piotr Michna made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Iulian Pietreanu sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hieronim Michna in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomiro Txindoki saved FC UNIREA Alba Iulia from getting behind. After 88 minutes of play, FC POLMOTOR TCZEW's Hieronim Michna made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomiro Txindoki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Baldomiro Txindoki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hieronim Michna's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Hieronim Michna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC UNIREA Alba Iulia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC POLMOTOR TCZEW.
