Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alfredo Martins made the kick off which started today's match. Dida Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Blas Lertxun sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th minute of the match Kickers United got a corner. Marquês de Herval's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iwan Banach ran over to the corner to take the kick. Iwan Banach made a great header on Kickers United's corner, it was just that Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel managed to reach the ball for a save. Kickers United's Cederik Huts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Neves in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Kickers United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Firmin to maneuver through the defense. Lode Rouvroys recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Kickers United's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Neves came free, but Cederik Huts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Kickers United defense, Dorian Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cederik Huts. The Kickers United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cederik Huts should have stopped the shot. Dorian Moraes got in the 27th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Cederik Huts handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Dida Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lode Rouvroys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kickers United's Cederik Huts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Neves in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Jacinto Neves notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Kickers United's Cederik Huts. Cederik Huts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dorian Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dino Maquiano made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Kickers United's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Neves came free, but Cederik Huts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Marquês de Herval's Moussa Kabre got a free kick in the 58th minute. Dida Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lode Rouvroys in the 64th minute of play. The corner ended in Iwan Banach almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel did a great save. 69 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's Dorian Moraes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cederik Huts narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Dorian Moraes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cederik Huts. That made the score 0-4 in the 69 minute of play. Kickers United's Antonio Netels was substituted for Iwan Banach. In the 75th minute Lode Rouvroys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Maquiano in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Jacinto Neves dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cederik Huts, 0-5. Dida Taffarel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lode Rouvroys's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Kickers United's Cederik Huts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Kickers United from getting a goal against them. Cederik Huts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Martins in the 86th minute of play. Lode Rouvroys scored 1-5 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dida Taffarel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
