Feliciano Horado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 15 minutes into the match, Lode Rouvroys notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Düsseldorf FC's Feliciano Horado. Feliciano Horado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Feliciano Horado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Maquiano in the 19th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lode Rouvroys in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliciano Horado saved Düsseldorf FC from getting behind. After 23 played minutes Kickers United got a freekick which was hit by Blas Lertxun. Alvaro Calvino scored 1-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cederik Huts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cederik Huts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Egoi in the 38th minute of the match. Cederik Huts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Olivar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Calvino made a kick off. If Teofilo Salomon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Kickers United booed when Düsseldorf FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Salomon didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lode Rouvroys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the game, Lode Rouvroys was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kickers United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Düsseldorf FC the free kick. The supporters of Düsseldorf FC booed when Kickers United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lode Rouvroys didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Düsseldorf FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Eulalio Kaxen hit a great ball. Lode Rouvroys blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feliciano Horado having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lode Rouvroys got free with Feliciano Horado in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dario Gartzea kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Kickers United's Antonio Netels was substituted for Iwan Banach. The supporters of Kickers United booed when Düsseldorf FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Gartzea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toon Adriaensens charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 69 played minutes, Düsseldorf FC's Dario Gartzea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cederik Huts came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Düsseldorf FC reached it. Lode Rouvroys was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Düsseldorf FC's Feliciano Horado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Düsseldorf FC from getting a goal against them. Kickers United were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Düsseldorf FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomás Firmin took the corner. Dionisio Gartzi made a great header on Kickers United's corner, it was just that Düsseldorf FC's Feliciano Horado managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 80th minute Alvaro Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cederik Huts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kickers United's Robbrecht Jonckers was substituted for Toon Adriaensens. Teofilo Salomon hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kickers United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
