FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save FC UNIREA Alba Iulia from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Calvino in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomiro Txindoki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Egoi in the 54th minute of play forced FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Baldomiro Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Calvino in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomiro Txindoki saved FC UNIREA Alba Iulia from getting behind. Düsseldorf FC's Feliciano Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orçun Yalınalp in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the Düsseldorf FC defense, Wilson Arósio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feliciano Horado. The Düsseldorf FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feliciano Horado should have stopped the shot.
