Machados FC V2's Pascoal Espírito Santo got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrigo Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lode Rouvroys in the 14th minute of the match. Rodrigo Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lode Rouvroys, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Lode Rouvroys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lode Rouvroys in the 20th managed to get into a good position. Tomás Firmin was slow to take the kick. During this time Kickers United's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Kickers United's Tomás Firmin to fire away a dangerous shot which Rodrigo Lima despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 24th minute, Blas Lertxun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Pascoal Espírito Santo came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Machados FC V2 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascoal Espírito Santo couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the match, Machados FC V2's goal looked a bit too open when Lode Rouvroys came free, but Rodrigo Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
