The supporters of ACR SA booed when FC UNIREA Alba Iulia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Grabiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the FC UNIREA Alba Iulia defense, Zorko Hendrickx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomiro Txindoki. The FC UNIREA Alba Iulia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomiro Txindoki should have stopped the shot. Iulian Pietreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Roch Olchawa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waclaw Dranka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Txindoki having to interfere. Roch Olchawa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petrică Cândreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred-Marc Firmino in the 20th minute of play forced FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Baldomiro Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Kuddusî Tozan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gigel Horhoianu hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Iulian Pietreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Olchawa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomiro Txindoki made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Fred-Marc Firmino sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Wilson Arósio put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Roch Olchawa. In the 53rd minute Petrică Cândreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Olchawa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred-Marc Firmino in the 53rd minute of play. Baldomiro Txindoki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zorko Hendrickx's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Roch Olchawa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Pietreanu in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orçun Yalınalp in the 65th minute of play forced ACR SA's goalkeeper Roch Olchawa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ignacy Naujasodis kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. ACR SA's Zorko Hendrickx was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Baldomiro Txindoki in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Fred-Marc Firmino got free in front of the goal in the 79th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Baldomiro Txindoki was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Orçun Yalınalp was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 81st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Roch Olchawa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iulian Pietreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 89 minutes, Waclaw Dranka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ACR SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waclaw Dranka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, ACR SA's Beniamin Chludzinski got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Petrică Cândreanu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. The FC UNIREA Alba Iulia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
