The audience was convinced that Adriano de Brito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Vidal was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After 24 played minutes Vasco Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Vander. Marcelo Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germán Cano in the 26th minute of play. Teofil Zjawin scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo Vidal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Teofil Zjawin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alessandro Vander during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute, Alessandro Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vinícius Esteves was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Marcelo Vidal threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teofil Zjawin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Adriano de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute of the match, Teofil Zjawin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcelo Vidal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcelo Vidal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teofil Zjawin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 75 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vasco Mineiro FC's Edu Cunha got a free kick in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded.
