Telmo Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İsrafil Mengü in the 51st minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Haroldo Sanches sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilmar Severo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the E.C 2 Janeiro RS defense, Zé Carlos Bezerra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Telmo Madureira. The E.C 2 Janeiro RS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telmo Madureira should have stopped the shot. Gilmar Severo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Sanches in the 80th minute of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Arthur Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arthur Quintal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in ⚜️ Inter de Meião MzC's zone, Humberto Paes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilmar Severo came out of the goal and Humberto Paes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Telmo Madureira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gilmar Severo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
