After having played for 7 minutes, Fábio Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toa Toa 4EVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fábio Guedes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute, INTER FC's Giovanni Torres dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Tarcio Bulisani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Carlos Teixeira in the 15th minute of the match. Basílio Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano do Nascimento in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Linhares in the 17th minute of play forced Toa Toa 4EVER's goalkeeper Tarcio Bulisani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basílio Maranhense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Víktor de Sena's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hortêncio Linhares got free with Tarcio Bulisani in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hortêncio Linhares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Tarcio Bulisani made a huge save. After 25 played minutes INTER FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Batista. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Linhares in the 28th minute of play forced Toa Toa 4EVER's goalkeeper Tarcio Bulisani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tarcio Bulisani made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Mandi Oca sent off a good shot on target. Tarcio Bulisani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mandi Oca in the 38th minute of the match. Tarcio Bulisani was a little too slow when João Carlos Teixeira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 2-0. With 44 minutes on the clock, Ricardinho Batista commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Ricardinho Batista hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the game, João Carlos Teixeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. INTER FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Toa Toa 4EVER the free kick. A collision led to INTER FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. João Carlos Teixeira hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Víktor de Sena made the kick off in the second half. João Carlos Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcio Bulisani having to interfere. Adriano do Nascimento hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Víktor de Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Víktor de Sena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 62 minutes into the match, Toa Toa 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Linhares came free, but Tarcio Bulisani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Víktor de Sena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basílio Maranhense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Adriano do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, INTER FC's Léo Trigo got a free kick in the 76th minute. INTER FC's Basílio Maranhense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save INTER FC from getting a goal against them. If Luís Fábio Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarcio Bulisani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hortêncio Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. João Carlos Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. In the 98th minute, Adriano do Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that INTER FC were the better team. INTER FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
