In the 15th minute, Teofil Zjawin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Eduardo Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Inter Gala's Luís Eduardo Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Inter Gala from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Inter Gala's Nilson Sarmento got a free kick in the 94th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Inter Gala's zone, Valdir Paes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Eduardo Valle came out of the goal and Valdir Paes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
