With a little luck, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo got control of the ball when Edin Džeko tried to sneak it across the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when André Luiz Vides came free, but Amadeo Rufo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Miranda hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Sérgio de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edin Džeko in the 17th minute of play. Dedé Alagoano hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Edin Džeko in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sérgio de Azevedo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edin Džeko to make the kick off. Sérgio de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diguinho Saraiva in the 58th minute of the match. When Edin Džeko came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Nova Erechim - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edin Džeko couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Mathias Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt a red card was in order, 66 minutes into the game, when Hélder Melo put in a rough tackle. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for BMB IMOVEIS SC! Edin Džeko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Sérgio de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edin Džeko in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sérgio de Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sérgio de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edin Džeko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edin Džeko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio de Azevedo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edin Džeko in the 89th minute of play forced BMB IMOVEIS SC's goalkeeper Sérgio de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edin Džeko in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio de Azevedo saved BMB IMOVEIS SC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edin Džeko in the 94th minute of play forced BMB IMOVEIS SC's goalkeeper Sérgio de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cafu de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Amadeo Rufo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nova Erechim - FSCMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while BMB IMOVEIS SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
