Wilson Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor de Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. With a little luck, EoDu Uai Sôccer's Wilson Severo got control of the ball when Zé Pedro Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, José Vítor Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flying Dutch's supporters rose to their feet, but José Vítor Rosado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Severo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 54 played minutes EoDu Uai Sôccer got a freekick which was hit by Belmiro Mendes. In the 55th match minute, Flying Dutch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Gustavo Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. Victor de Salles took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Severo. Wilson Severo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Wilson Severo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Horácio Dominguess short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Luís Paulo Romero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 79th minute, Horácio Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Flying Dutch's Victor de Salles got a free kick in the 80th minute. A collision led to EoDu Uai Sôccer getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Hélio Linhares hit a great ball. In the 85th minute of the match Thiago de Mendonça shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilson Severo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 86th minute, Jonathan Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilson Severo came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Flying Dutch's José Vítor Rosado. But to his dismay, José Vítor Rosado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0.
