Toa Toa 4EVER's Tarcio Bulisani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mandi Oca in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Toa Toa 4EVER booed when INTER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Carlos Teixeira during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Toa Toa 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Dionísio to maneuver through the defense. Albertinho Meireles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 14 minutes, Marco Seco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the INTER FC and the Toa Toa 4EVER players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, INTER FC's Basílio Maranhense got control of the ball when Luís Fábio Sergipano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hortêncio Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Tarcio Bulisani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Mandi Oca made a precise shot to the right of Tarcio Bulisani. Toa Toa 4EVER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 26th minute Toa Toa 4EVER were awarded a corner. Luís Fábio Sergipano went to the cornerflag to take it. Basílio Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fábio Sergipano in the 35th minute of the match. Tarcio Bulisani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Carlos Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fábio Sergipano in the 40th minute of play forced INTER FC's goalkeeper Basílio Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Hortêncio Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcio Bulisani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basílio Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fábio Sergipano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hortêncio Linhares to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Koehler in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basílio Maranhense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Adriano do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Toa Toa 4EVER. Luís Fábio Sergipano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Basílio Maranhense. 2-2.
