Songurbey Şahsuvar might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sérgio de Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Songurbey Şahsuvar ran back to his position shaking his head. Dedé Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 47 minutes, Randy Kläser mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nova Erechim - FSCMZ and the BMB IMOVEIS SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. BMB IMOVEIS SC's Emanuel Paranaense managed to work through Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Emanuel Paranaense ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Paranaense in the 87th minute of play forced Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Amadeo Rufo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathias Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sérgio de Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edin Džeko's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Sérgio de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edin Džeko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
