The supporters of BRASIL.Sp booed when INTER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardinho Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes Luís Guilherme Vasconcelos scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Basílio Maranhense who was too lazy, 1-0. BRASIL.Sp's Durval Meireles was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Durval Meireles in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basílio Maranhense saved INTER FC from getting behind. Durval Meireles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basílio Maranhense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Léo Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Luís Guilherme Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BRASIL.Sp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Guilherme Vasconcelos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Linhares in the 80th minute of play forced BRASIL.Sp's goalkeeper Caio Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Percy Cearense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Basílio Maranhense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruno Alves charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Basílio Maranhense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, BRASIL.Sp's Emanuel Figueiredo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Basílio Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percy Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the INTER FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for BRASIL.Sp.
