João Miranda's late challenge caught a Toa Toa 4EVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Miranda helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's João Miranda got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Guilherme Peres reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tarcio Bulisani. The goal made the score 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano do Nascimento in the 29th minute of play forced Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Amadeo Rufo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Diego Dionísio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
