In the 29th minute, André Luiz Pernambucano fired a really elegant long shot, but Wilson Severo threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Wilson Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinícius Esteves in the 33rd minute of the match. Wilson Severo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico Lago in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Vasco Mineiro FC's Periklis Vasilarakos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Severo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. André Luiz Pernambucano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Severo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute of the match Vasco Mineiro FC got a corner. EoDu Uai Sôccer's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. André Luiz Pernambucano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Wilson Severo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frederico Lago in the 44th minute. Vinícius Esteves who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Wilson Severo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinícius Esteves in the 60th minute of play forced EoDu Uai Sôccer's goalkeeper Wilson Severo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Severo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reginaldo Meira hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. André Luiz Pernambucano didn't quite understand what happened when in the 64 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When Frederico Lago came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Vasco Mineiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederico Lago couldn't finish the play. Wilson Severo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vinícius Esteves's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Pedrão Sá's late challenge caught a Vasco Mineiro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedrão Sá helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, EoDu Uai Sôccer's Pedrão Sá got a free kick in the 71st minute. Wilson Severo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Periklis Vasilarakos in the 72nd minute of play. The corner ended in Frederico Lago almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but EoDu Uai Sôccer's Wilson Severo did a great save. After some careless play in the EoDu Uai Sôccer defense, Frederico Lago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Severo. The EoDu Uai Sôccer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Severo should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, EoDu Uai Sôccer's Pedrão Sá got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Angelo Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vinícius Esteves in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Severo saved EoDu Uai Sôccer from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, Frederico Lago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Severo. EoDu Uai Sôccer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frederico Lago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Vinícius Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Vasco Mineiro FC were the better team. Vasco Mineiro FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
